摘要
A general expression for the energy-momentum tensor of a system of N interacting relativistic particles is obtained. In order to get this result, we analyse a particular model by constructing a coupling to an external gravitational field. The result obtained in this way is then generalized to an arbitrary situation. By studying the singularities of the energy-momentum tensor it is possible to get a clear understanding of the physics underlying the action-at-a-distance models. © 1979 Società Italiana di Fisica.
