摘要
Ammonia is one of the most useful compounds that reacts with NOx selectively on a catalyst such as V2O5-TiO2 under oxygen-containing exhaust gas. However, ammonia cannot be stored for Nox removal at small power generators in populated areas or on diesel vehicles because of its toxiticity. A novel ammonia generation system from N-2/H-2 gas or fuels using catalysts is proposed. The system is one of ammonia synthesis under low pressure (1 to 10 bar), ammonia adsorption-desorption, and elimination of nitrogen oxides using V2O5-TiO2 catalyst. The details of each system are disclosed. A hydrogen generation system from fuels is also discussed.
