摘要
We discuss how the longitudinal spectrum of energetic prompt leptons and neutrinos detected in the forward direction can be used to determine the cross sections and longitudinal momentum distribution of the parent particles. We illustrate our results by showing how the recently observed prompt neutrino and lepton distributions can tell us much about the nature of the parent particle and the underlying processes producing it. © 1979.
