Heat capacities of U3O8 have been measured by adiabatic calorimetry from 300° to 555°K. A reversible λ-type thermal anomaly of uncertain origin, and with an enthalpy of transition of only 41 cal./(mole 0 K.), was observed at 482.7°K. © 1968, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
