摘要
The reaction of N,N′-diphenyl-p-quinone diimine (I) with PhLi proceeds predominantly as 1,6-addition together with reduction. In an analogous reaction with MeLi, in addition to reduction 1,6- and 1,4-addition was found to take place probably together with 1,2-addition. The influence of metal salts on the reaction course was studied, and possible mechanisms are discussed. © 1969.
