摘要
Wavelength conversion using four-wave mixing in an optical fiber is demonstrated. Utilizing the wavelength region around the zero-dispersion wavelength of a fiber, 622 Mbt/s FSK signal light is converted from 1555.2 to 1547.6 nm with a conversion efficiency of -24 dB.
