摘要
Validity conditions of impedance measurements for a nernstian redox system have been studied both theoritically and experimentally. The theoretical predictions give a better estimate of the impedance measurement error than the results previously given by Kooyman et al.. The impedance measurement error depends on the electrode potential, the sinusoidal voltage amplitude, the electron number and the temperature. It doesn't depend on the signal frequency. The experimental study of Fe(CN)63-/Fe(CN)64- redox system on a rotating disk electrode is given as an example. There is a good agreement between the experimental results and the theoretical predictions in the low frequency range where the redox system is nearly a nernstian system.
