摘要
The rate for collision-induced predissociation of the Hg2 0+u(tPt 1So)ν = 57 state with atomic mercury is measured to be 5.6 × 10-10 cm3 s-1. This rate was obtained by observing the density dependence of quenching of the Hg2 0+u → 0+g fluorescence. The 0+u state is selectively produced by photoassociation of unbound atom pairs. © 1979.
