The phase diagram for the Co-Cr-Zr system has been calculated from thermodynamic data for the binary systems involved. Ten isothermal sections for temperatures between 1900 and 1300 K are given. Portions of the diagram, indicating eutectic behaviour between fcc Co-based solutions and the (Co,Cr)2Zr Laves phase, are in excellent agreement with experimental studies made subsequent to the calculations. A set of thermodynamic data for the Co-Zr system which is consistent with the experimental phase diagram has been derived. © 1979.
