摘要
The thermodynamic behavior of the system cyclopentane-carbon tetrachloride at 25° was investigated by measuring volumes and heats of mixing and by determining the vapor-liquid equilibria. Experimental data for the excess functions were represented by equations of the Redlich-Kister type with coefficients determined by a least-squares method. Interpretation of the results in terms of the theories of Prigogine and of Flory was investigated. Neither theory provides satisfactory estimates of the excess volume.
