摘要
Recording performance of double sided MIG (metal-in-gap) composite head was studied and compared to ordinary single sided head. Double sided MIG heads have better overwrite performance and also improved electrical performance; i.e. output amplitude, bit shift. Studies on the variation in magnetization for both MIG heads using SKEM are also included.
