摘要
The mean lifetime of the second member of the ground-state rotational band in 21Na has been determined as τm = 45-10+18 fs with the Doppler-shift attenuation method in the 20Ne(p,γ)21Na reaction. Targets used for the measurements were prepared by implanting Ne ions into tantalum. The effect of the neon and tantalum composition on the lifetime result and some problems associated with the lifetime analysis have been treated too. © 1969.
