摘要：

A method for quantifying resting tremors in a rat model of limb dyskinesias has been developed. The model involved permanent cannulation of the caudate nucleus for the introduction of carbachol. Tremors resulting from carbachol injection were quantified with a small transducer and an electronic data collection system. This system allows the construction of dose-response curves for tremor inhibition by potential antiparkinsonism drugs. Data collection is less expensive and less time consuming than similar models of dyskinesias in cats or monkeys. © 1979.
