摘要
Diffusion across the noisy Chirikov-Taylor mapping has been studied by several authors, both numerically and analytically. However, the published results concern values of the stochasticity parameter in the domains k ≫ 1 and k → 0. Here, we are mainly interested in the region 0 ≤ k ≤ 2. We present numerical results, and analytically derive an expression which is in good agreement with these results. We discuss the relevance of this parameter domain for physical applications. © 1990.
