摘要
Antibodies obtained from one rabbit in a series of fie animals immunized with acetylchlinesterase effected a partial restoration of enzymatic activity following their interaction with the heat deactivated enzyme. The restored enzymatic activity resided exclusively in the soluble immune complex. Analysis of some kinetic parameters of the renatured enzyme revealed substrate specificity different from that of the native enzyme. On the basis of these findings, it is suggested that renaturation occurred through the induction by the antibodies of a change in the conformation of the denatred enzyme to that which approximated the conformation of the native enzyme. © 1969.
