摘要
The response-energy function and scintillation pulse-shape of CsI(0.5% Na) have been measured for charged particles of different ionization density. The response-energy functions are very similar to those of CsI(Tl) while increasing steeper uniformly by a factor of about two. The scintillation decay consists of two exponential components with mean lives as 0.46 μs and 4.18 μs, respectively. The relative intensity of the components shows considerable ionization-density dependence. © 1969.
