ANISOTROPY OF THE LONDON PENETRATION DEPTH IN LAYERED SUPERCONDUCTORS

摘要
The authors find the temperature dependence of the anisotropy of the London penetration depth lambda in a layered superconductor. The system considered is an array of sheets coupled by the Josephson interaction. They consider separately the cases when the sheets are identical, when they have varying order parameters and finally when every other sheet becomes normal individually. They show that the anisotropy of lambda is temperature independent only if all the layers are identical.
