摘要
The group-theoretical discussion of the translation symmetry of the Schroedinger equation of an electron in the presence of an electrostatic periodic field and a uniform magnetic field is extended to include all the admissible rotations, reflections and time reversal. The full invariance operator groups for this case are defined and studied for an arbitrary gauge. It turns out that the structure of the full invariance group depends on the orientation and the magnitude of the magnetic field. It is shown that the full invariance operator groups corresponding to two vector potentials which differ only by a gauge transformation are isomorphic. © 1969.
