摘要
Shock wave experiments over a wide pressure range of methane dissociation have been reevaluated. The results suggest that the high pressure limiting rate constant of the reverse recombination CH3 + H → CH4 has a value of krec, ∞ = 3.5 x 10-10 cm3 s-1 independent of the temperature between 300 and 2200 K. Theoretically simulated low and high pressure rate constants are given together with falloffexpressions which provide a satisfactory representation of all so far available experimental results. © R.
