摘要：

Preclinical and clinical investigations were performed to test the oral compatibility of TiN. Preclinical investigations included toxicity testing, measurements of the abrasion resistance, potential measurements and corrosion testing. The clinical test was related to 100 removable model cast dentures. From an evaluation of the investigations it can be concluded that TiN-coated model casting meets the demands of an oral-compatible material.
