INTRAMOLECULAR INTERACTION OF PORPHYRIN MOIETIES IN 2,5-PIPERAZINEDIONE-BRIDGED PORPHYRIN DIMERS

摘要
Diastereomerically pure 2,5-piperazinedione-bridged meso-tetraarylporphyrin dimers were synthesized with easy procedures. H-1 NMR, UV-vis, and CD spectra showed that porphyrin moieties in the L,L-molecule interacted more strongly than those in the D,L-isomer and this interaction decreased with substitution by 3,5-di-t-butyl groups on the meso-phenyl substituents.
