摘要
5-Fluorouracil and 1-methylcytosine form a crystalline intermolecular complex with 1:1 stoichiometry. The molecules form cyclic hydrogen-bonded dimers which are in turn connected by pairs of hydrogen bonds to form long lathe-shaped arrays in the crystal. These pack together in a herringbone fashion. Various features are discussed concerning the stability of this non-complementary pair. © 1969.
