ELECTRON REMOVAL FROM ATOMIC-HYDROGEN BY COLLISIONS WITH FULLY STRIPPED IRON IONS

摘要
Charge transfer and impact ionization cross sections for Fe+26 + H collisions were computed using the perturbed stationary state and classical trajectory methods. These results in combination with previous theoretical stripped ion + H collision studies indicate an approximately linear dependence of the charge transfer cross section with projectile charge for ν {less-than or approximate} 1 × 108 cm/s. © 1979.
