摘要
The potential-energy curves and the radial coupling matrix elements of the (3)SIGMA+ and (3)PI states involved in the collision of the metastable N5+ (1s2s)3S multicharged ion on a helium target have been calculated by means of an ab initio method with configuration interaction. The partial cross sections of capture on the 3l levels have been determined using a semiclassical method and compared with experiment. The transfer-excitation process has been considered.
