RADIATIVE CAPTURE OF NEUTRONS BY 6.24-EV,15.5-EV AND 29.7-EV RESONANCES IN 121SB AND 21.6-EV RESONANCE IN 123SB

摘要
Gamma rays from neutron capture in four low-energy resonances of natural antimony have been studied with a two-dimensional data collection technique. The investigation has yielded 6808 ± 3 keV and 6470 ± 3 keV for the neutron-separation energies of 122Sb and 124Sb, respectively. Twelve levels in 122Sb and two in 124Sb have been identified on the basis of primary transitions and a number of low-energy transitions. The question of the reaction mechanism for the neutron capturing process is discussed. © 1969.
