VIBRATIONAL-SPECTRUM OF CARBON-MONOXIDE CHEMISORBED ON A COPPER(100) SURFACE

摘要
High resolution electron energy loss spectra have been measured for CO chemisorption on Cu(100) at 100 K. The number of vibrational modes and their frequencies are consistent with a single molecular state of CO on the surface. The loss intensities exhibit a maximum with coverage similar to surface potential measurements. © 1979.
