摘要
This paper presents the results of simultaneous overdesign and optimization of the contact sulfuric acid process. A stochastic optimization procedure is developed as described. Significant improvements in the economics of the process are achieved by optimization, and these improvements clearly justify the cost of such studies. © 1979.
