摘要
The anomeric configuration of the NeuAc residue in enzymically prepared cytidine 5ʹ-monophospho-N'-acetylneuraminic acid was established to be β on the basis of the heteronuclear vicinal coupling constant 3J-H3ax. For comparison the 3JCL -H3 values of a number of α and β N-acetylneuraminic acid derivatives have also been determined.
