摘要
The quasi-TEM and full-wave algorithms developed in this article enable us to deal with a coplanar transmission line including an arbitrary number of conductors and lossy magnetic and/or dielectric layers. The quasi-TEM and the full-wave approaches are compared in order to establish reliable criteria concerning the validity range of the quasi-TEM analysis. The exact knowledge of this range permits us to study new MIC or MMIC configurations combining gyromagnetic, ferrimagnetic-semiconductor, and dielectric layers by means of the simple quasi-TEM model.
