摘要
Time-of-flight systems are widely used in mass spectrometry atomic physics and ion scattering experiments in surface physics. The essential mechanical and electronic parts of a beam pulsing system are described, which reaches an energy resolution of DELTA E/E equals 0. 1%-0. 4% in the energy range from 100 ev and 10 kev.
