摘要
The XANES at the Ag L edges of glasses Ag2O:B2O3, analyzed in terms of electronic transitions to unoccupied molecular orbitals, confirm previous EXAFS results and support a model for the bond between Ag and the borate network. When AgI is added, the XANES allow to determine the fraction of Ag ions bonded to the borate network.
