The electrical resistivity and critical current of the sintered Y-Ba-Cu-O compounds with the various molar ratio of (Y,Ba):Cu are reported. The sintered pellet with the 1:1 or 2:1 ratio has the zero-resistance transition temperature of 94-95 K with DELTA T//c APP 1STH 1 K. The temperature dependence of critical current is in good agreement with the Ginzburg-Landau theory near T equals T//c. It is also shown, from the X-ray analysis, that the sintered pellet has the strong c-axis orientation perpendicular to the pressed surface.
