摘要：

A theoretical procedure is developed in an effort to solve the acoustic propagation problem in the ocean in the presence of stochastic boundaries. The result for the mean and mean squared value of the acoustic field should prove useful in calculating many of the effects of a stochastic surface, without the necessity of treating the surface as a separate problem. © 1969, Acoustical Society of America.
