摘要：

The fluorescence and phosphorescence spectral characteristics of twelve phenyl-substituted silanes have been determined; phosphorescence lifetimes are also presented. Limits of detection by fluorimetry and phosphorimetry are compared and the possibility of luminescence assay is discussed. Fluorimetry and phosphorimetry are shown to be complementary in achieving the highest analytical sensitivities. © 1969.
