摘要
The two prototype coils were fabricated using silver sheathed superconducting wires. These wires were fabricated through the powder-in-tube technique. One was designed as a coil for the iron core magnet which generated a magnetic field of 0.2T at 77.3K. The other was an insert coil for the hybrid magnet which generated 0.8T in a background field of 7T at 4.2K. These results suggest that Bi-based superconducting coils are possible to be used in magnet applications.
