摘要
The electrolytic formation of AgO in aqueous KOH is studied by applying constant potential pulses to metallic silver and to metallic silver covered with Ag2O. The current-time traces are interpreted to indicate the oxidation processes of the silver. The conclusions presented are applied to the interpretation of the cyclovoltammetric curves of a silver electrode in aqueous KOH, and to the oxidation of the silver electrode in a silver-alkaline cell or battery. © 1990.
