DECHANNELING BY DISLOCATION

摘要
The effect of dechanneling due to dislocations is evaluated with Lindhard's theory. This effect is represented by the existence, around the dislocation, of a dechanneling cylinder of diameter: λ = ( bdaE αZ1Z2e2) 1 2, E is theenergy of the particule (charge Z1e), b the Burgers vector, d the atomic distance along the considered channel, Z2 the atomic number of the crystal, a the screening radius, α a parameter respectively equal to 15.8 and 5.6 for edge- or screw-dislocations. There is agreement between this formula and an experimental value measured in aluminium. © 1968.
