摘要
In this communication, it is shown that carefully synthetized and purified PcAlCl is able to generate, under white light irradiation at solar intensity, stable photocathodic short-circuit photocurrents in the mA cm** minus **2 range. It is noted that both film transformations, in contact with I//3** minus /I** minus at pH 3. 2 (transformation a) or in contact only with the acidic solution at Ph 3. 2 (transformation b), occur in the dark as well as under illumination. Furthermore, a PcAlCl film which is characterized by high quantum yields after its modification according to transformation a may be subjected to transformation b, if it is immersed in an acidic solution which does not contain I//3** minus / I** minus .
