摘要
On 1 July 1997 Hong Kong will become a Special Administrative Region (SAR) within the People's Republic of China. This paper looks at the various tourism-related issues that are being confronted in the lead-up to the change-over in sovereignty. These include: the development of the new airport, the future of Hong Kong's airline industry, the increasing concentration of visitors from the top three markets, the situation facing the hotel industry and the future of passports for Hong Kong residents.
