HE-4 LASER PUMPED MAGNETOMETER - SPATIAL ISOTROPY OF RESONANCE SIGNALS IN MAGNETIC-RESONANCE AND LIGHT-MODULATION

摘要
Three methods associated with optical pumping of He-4 (2 3S1) metastable atoms can be used to measure magnetic field intensity or its variations: magnetic resonance, optical pumping with intensity modulated light and polarization modulated light. We study the spatial amplitude dependence of the corresponding resonance signals. A solution for the spatial isotropy problem of an optically pumped helium magnetometer is suggested.
