摘要
Efforts to preserve and utilize Solanum germ plasm have produced many significant results during the past 50 years. Recent research promises even more success in the future. However, in order to obtain the most rapid advancements and to provide for long-term programs, efforts should be made to encourage and organize more cooperative international projects. The current International Biological Program may provide a means for doing this. © 1969 The New York Botanical Garden.
