摘要
Thin films of MgAl2O4:Mn were prepared by electron gun evaporation. Films of 4-mu-m thickness on quartz substrate were characterized by X-ray diffraction and optical microscopy. The effect of annealing was studied, and cathodoluminescence yielded the expected green emission at 520 nm. Thin films of this spinel phosphor were therefore shown to possess the essential properties of bulk material.
