摘要：

Serial pertechnetate abdominal imaging is often performed for exploring the cause and site of gastrointestinal bleeding. The authors present a study performed for suspected Meckel's diverticulum that shows unusual scan features suggestive of generalized intestinal inflammation and an undiagnosed uterine fibroid. The report suggests advantages of including the perfusion phase in abdominal scan protocols and possible role of radionuclide imaging in uterine fibroids and intestinal inflammations.
