摘要
The sources of information on late radiation effects in man are reviewed and the findings to date discussed. The uncertainties in extrapolation of the data to low doses and low dose rate are considered in detail. The biological basis for various methods of extrapolation are presented. A range of estimates of the magnitude of effects to be anticipated from low dose exposures to human populations is provided. © 1969 Health Physics Society.
