摘要
Thin films of poly(vinylidene fluoride) were prepared by vapour deposition in the presence of an electric field. The thin film of the gamma-form crystal with molecular orientation perpendicular to the substrate was obtained at a substrate temperature of 125-degrees-C and at a deposition rate of ca. 0.1 angstrom s-1. The film exhibited piezoelectricity and its electrical conductivity increased with an increase in humidity. The electromotive force was found when the film was exposed to air following exposure to dried nitrogen gas and its magnitude depended on the temperature and the degree of humidity in the air.
