摘要
The surface properties of oxidation treated ZrNi1.43, ZrV0.79Ni1.61, and ZrTi0.43Ni1.43 alloys were investigated by X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) and secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS). The oxidation treatment was found to result in segregation on the surface, where zirconium and titanium are enriched and oxidized on the surface. Metallic nickel and vanadium precipitates in the sub-surface and are protected from oxygen by the zirconium or titanium oxide layer. The relationship between the surface structure produced and the high reactivity is discussed.
