NEAR-INFRARED ULTRASHORT PULSE GENERATION WITH LINBO3 BY DIFFERENCE-FREQUENCY-GENERATION

摘要
Frequency down-conversion in a LiNbO3 crystal is described in a subpicosecond pulse regime. Tunable 1.4-1.6 μm ultrashort pulses have been generated by mixing a 1.064 μm Nd:YAG laser pulse and a visible subpicosecond pulse from a cavity dumped, synchronously pumped dye laser. Infrared ultrashort pulses with an average power of 30 μW have been obtained at a repetition rate of 3.8 MHz. © 1990.
