摘要
Properties of multiplicity combinants are studied with regard to the Linked Pair Approximation (LPA) for the higher order cumulant correlations. A generalization of the so-called chi-scaling test of the LPA is presented. It is obtained by the constrUction of a whole set of scaling functions chi(N) on the basis of combinants. The scaling functions are investigated for the Negative Binomial Distribution.
