摘要
Chitin and cellulose have been depolymerized by thermal degradation in a high boiling and inert solvent to give water-soluble oligomers with a terminal anhydrosugar unit. Pure oligomers 1 and 3 up to the pentamers have been obtained by preparative gel permeation chromatography, and characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and fast atom bombardment-mass spectrometry. © 1990.
