摘要：
A bacterial strain presenting the characteristics of R. equi was isolated from a blood culture and a catheter in a 58-years-old immunocompromised male patient with acute myelogenous leukemia. The clinical observation is presented while the biochemical and physiological features of the strain are reported as well as the study of the cellular fatty acid composition. A review of the literature is also presented and commented.
